About Samuel

Samuel Merrin is a philosopher, a lover of life, and a walker of streets. He is also a writer, and a graduate of the fine San Francisco public high school and university system. Relentlessly educated and effortlessly sparkling, Samuel Merrin is a force to be reckoned with. After graduating SFSU, Samuel Merrin went on to work at a number of odd-jobs, all loosely related to his degree in English, meaning that while he was at work he spoke and thought in the English language. Temp jobs, part-time after-hours librarian positions, these were the stuff of Samuel Merrin's professional life to fund his writing hours. Currently, Samuel Merrin is working on a series of short stories. Always the self-professed novelist, Samuel Merrin continues to hammer out his Opus Magnum, a coming-of-age tale of a 14-year old girl named Anna, filled with murder and intrigue, tentatively titled "Anna and Murder and Intrigue" or possibly "Murder and Intrigue and Anna." On the subject of the title of his opus, Samuel Merrin is open to suggestions and possibly even criticism. In his free time, Samuel Merrin enjoys reading, jogging, and volunteering.
